Pěší trasa

Vranov – Mniszkův kříž (Mniszek cross) – Onšov – Claryho kříž (Clary’s cross) – Granátová (Garnet) bay, dam wall – Vranov chateau – Vranov

Follow the blue signs from the square in Vranov and walk up the narrow alley to the church of Virgin Mary Assumption and Mniszek cross, past the hairpin bend of the road and continue past the Collector’s chapel to Onšov where the path takes a sharp left turn. The trail then carries on above the river Dyje valley to Clary’s cross on a rocky projection, offering the best views of the Vranov dam wall. Walk down the steep hill to the Garnet bay. Here turn left and follow the green-marked tourist trail to go back via the Vranov dam wall. Before the bridger over the river Dyje, turn right and follow the blue-marked trail (with a turning to the Halamass vantage point) to Vranov chateau. Then continue along the yellow-marked trail via Benátky to the square in Vranov.
