From the main square in Bítov where the signpost is located, follow the blue tourist trail (it partly runs parallel to the yellow tourist trail). Cycle down towards the stream valley, you will follow its left bank along the way. Then steer away from the stream and after a short ascent you will reach a main road. Cross the road and continue past Najhajzerský pond through woods towards a signpost on a forest tarmac track. Leave the blue tourist trail and turn left along the yellow tourist trail. Leave the forest and join a main road, you will soon see a little village of Zblovice. At the signpost swap the yellow tourist trail for green one, which will take you to the Bítov castle. Along the way there will some great views of this Gothic castle and also a number of spots to rest. You should definitely visit the castle as it boasts with a unique collection of stuffed dogs and a remarkable armory. From a signpost by the castle you can follow a shorter route along the green tourist trail to Bítov. The other option is to follow 1 kilometer longer route along the red tourist trail, which is more interesting but also more physically challenging. This route will take you to the Vranov dam bank (Bítov cove). From here you can ascend to the starting point in Bítov.
