Route P6: SMUGGLERS‘ TRAIL TO ICE CAVES

Pěší trasa

Čížov – Na Keplech crossroads – Pašerácká (Smugglers‘) trail – Obelisk (Ice caves) – Lusthaus – Klaper’s stream – Čížov pond – Čížov

Start from the parking lot before Čížov (or the bus stop Čížov) by the chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows and follow the blue-marked trail past the preserved harvest barriers to the Na Keplech crossroads. Then carry on along the red-marked trail through the field and forest to join the smugglers‘ path that offers great views of the Dyje river canyon to reach the Obelisk and Ice caves. Join the yellow-marked trail through Vranov gates, past Lusthaus chateau, to Pod Lesnou crossroads. Change to the blue-marked trail that will take you along the banks of Klaper’s stream to Čížov pond (Dehťák) and then go uphill to reach Čížov.
